AquaShade Blue Dye

An EPA-registered aquatic dye blend designed to limit the wavelengths of sunlight needed for underwater photosynthesis. It gives water an aqua-blue tint and is best used proactively before heavy plant growth is established.

Recommended for

Contained natural or manmade lakes and ponds with little or no outflow, especially water deeper than two feet.

Product details & application

• Pour directly into the water; fountains or aerators can accelerate dispersion.
• Most effective when applied early in the season before plant germination.
• Can be used alongside herbicides or algaecides when existing surface growth also needs control.

• Client guidance is based on approximately 1 gal per acre at an average depth of 4 ft.
